Most people I know have not seen this movie. In my notion, it is very underrated. I care for it. What’s droll is when they visit each other’s parents. Jessica Tandy plays Goldie’s mom, and she is fantastic. Goldie doesn’t want to sleep with Burt in her frail room at her childhood home: “This is my teenage room. It’s not for sexual relations, it’s for slumber parties.”
